Tide bins

To support initiatives by the general public to collect waste washed up on the foreshore, most Landes coastal communities install tide bins at beach entrances. The bin acts as a collection point for waste washed up and collected. This system is in place throughout the winter. An explanatory visual informs the general public of the right attitudes to adopt.

All waste other than that washed up on the beach must not be disposed of in the tide bins.
